Our body can directly come in contact with the toxic materials from our skin. This can cause serious problems to our health. Hence, taking proper care of our body from such harmful and toxic substances is very important.  Most of the accidents occur in our arms and hands. Few examples of them are chemical spill, scratches, heat and cuts. The best solution to keep you away from these accidents is gloves. 

When to wear a glove?

One should wear a glove whenever you are handling a sharp or rough edged object. You should also were gloves when handling materials, which is very cold or very hot. Fabric Gloves: These types of gloves are mostly made of fabric blends or cotton. These gloves are normally used for handling objects that are slippery. Another feature of these gloves is that, it also helps you to insulate your hands from mild cold or heat. 

Leather gloves:

As the name suggests, these gloves are made of leather. They are normally used to keep your hands protected from sparks and when you are rubbing a rough surface.

You should replace your gloves periodically. This depends on the permeability and the use of the matter. Gloves that have become heavily contaminated must be rinsed and then removed carefully from the hand.

Pay attention:

Pay much attention on your hands when you are working with such sharp machinery and tools. Attention toward your hands will protect you from any kind of accidents. Power tools must have some kind of guards incorporated or installed in the design of the machine. These guards will stop your hands from coming in the contact with the moving parts, the power train, and the point of operation of the machine.

Few tips that you can follow to keep yourself save from injuries from these machines:-

• Make sure that the guards of the machines are always on place.

•  Before repairing the machines and tools, be sure that you have disconnected the power supply of the machine and has locked it up.

• Never wear gloves around machines that are moving like grinders, drills and mills.
